DMNR STUDIO HIRE TERMS & CONDITIONS
These Terms apply to all bookings and use of DMNR Studio, 4/5 Bailey Crescent, Southport QLD 4215, operated by DMNR Pty Ltd (ABN 21 697 850 123).
By booking the Studio, the person or business named on the booking (“Client”) agrees to these Terms and is responsible for ensuring their guests, crew and contractors comply with them.
1. Bookings & Studio Time
Bookings are confirmed once payment is received and are subject to availability. Booking time includes setup, shooting, pack-down and departure.
The Studio must be vacated by the confirmed end time. Extensions must be approved by DMNR, are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. Unauthorised overtime may be charged at the applicable studio hire rate.
Bookings cannot be transferred or resold without DMNR approval.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the booking start time.
Cancellations or rescheduling within 48 hours, or failure to attend, will incur the full booking fee.
If DMNR cancels a booking, the Client will be offered a reschedule, credit or refund as applicable.
3. Access & Use
Studio access is limited to the confirmed booking period. Access details and door codes must not be shared outside the booking, and the Studio must be secured when leaving.
The Client is responsible for the conduct and safety of everyone attending their booking. Illegal, dangerous or disruptive activity is prohibited.
Events, activations, large productions, animals, unusual installations or uses outside ordinary studio hire require prior DMNR approval and may be subject to additional terms or charges.
Children must be appropriately supervised at all times.
4. Studio, Furniture & Backdrops
Furniture, props and movable pieces may be repositioned but must be handled with reasonable care and returned in reasonable condition.
Items must not be dragged or used in a way that may damage the Studio. Painting, construction, attachments or alterations require prior approval.
The Studio must be left substantially as found, with all rubbish, equipment, products and personal items removed.
5. Damage, Cleaning & Belongings
A valid card is required for all bookings. By completing a booking, the Client authorises DMNR to charge the card provided for reasonable costs arising from excessive cleaning, rubbish left behind, missing items, or damage to the Studio, furniture, backdrops or equipment.
Where damage, loss or repair costs exceed $500, DMNR may invoice the Client for the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
The Client must notify DMNR of any damage, breakage or loss as soon as reasonably possible and is responsible for damage or loss caused by misuse, negligence or their attendees, subject to applicable law.
Clients are responsible for their own equipment and belongings. DMNR is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to Client property except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
No security charge will be made where the Studio is left in its original condition.
6. Productions & Studio Environment
The Client is responsible for any permissions, releases, licences, insurance or approvals required for their production, talent, crew or content.
DMNR operates within an active surrounding environment and does not guarantee a completely soundproof or noise-free Studio. Clients with specific audio or production requirements are responsible for determining the Studio’s suitability.
7. Safety & Liability
Clients must use the Studio responsibly, follow reasonable safety instructions and keep emergency exits and access areas clear. Incidents, injuries, hazards or significant damage must be reported to DMNR as soon as reasonably possible.
To the extent permitted by law, DMNR is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Studio.
DMNR may end a booking where there is unsafe behaviour, illegal activity, serious misuse, significant disruption or a material breach of these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
8. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
By completing a booking, the Client confirms they have read and agree to these DMNR Studio Hire Terms & Conditions.
